Strategic Advisory Council

The Strategic Advisory Council of MJC comprises of a group of Indian and global leaders representing the academic, business, government and social sectors who bring in an external perspective over the affairs of the institution. The fundamental purpose of the Council is to ensure that all students receive the best possible learning opportunities, by engaging all partners in an ongoing process of problem solving and shared decision making. Our Team

T Koshy (HEAD - MJC)

T Koshy is the Trustee & Vice President Institute. He has over 35 years of experience in conceptualization, design, development & implementation of various large scale e Governance transformation projects. He is Former Sr Partner , EY .

Sunil Chandiramani (Chairman - MJC)

Sunil is the founder & CEO of NYKA Advisory Services, a management consulting firm. Energetic leader known for his ability to envision, build teams & deliver market leading business results. He has 34 years of diverse industry & functional expertise in providing strategic, financial & operational leadership in uniquely challenging situations, across geographies. He was an India Leader of Advisory Services at Ernst and Young before starting Nyka

Prof. Christoph Ehrhardt (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Christoph has more than 40 years of professional experience mainly in international projects. Mr. Ehrhardt studied architecture and also holds an MBA. After co-founding a PMO and Strategic Advisory firm in 1989 he joined Arthur Andersen as an equity partner in 1997. After the merger of Andersen and EY, Christoph was responsible for their global Real Estate and Infrastructure Transaction Advisory practice until the end of 2018 when he opted for early retirement. Since then he holds numerous non-executive board seats and has founded his own consultancy practice, Bennix Strategic Advisors. He also runs a foundation, Bennix India Foundation, to support MJC with funds acquired in Europe.

Elizabeth Koshy (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Elizabeth is extremely passionate towards the cause and brings in an expertise in relationship building, innovation, risk management, process engineering, operational management, accountability frameworks, quality assurance, change management and strategy. She is a strong advocate for growing these children into independent and responsible citizens of the country and is dedicated to the cause

Marcus Zurcher (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

He was a senior officer in the IT division of Axa life in Switzerland. He has been also one of the largest supporter of MJC out of Europe for past many years

Guru Malladi (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Born and raised in India, with an undergraduate degree in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, Guru attended Middlesex University in London, where he earned a master’s degree in Technology, specializing in Expert Systems (AI) and Human-Computer Interaction. Subsequently worked in London with Standard Chartered Bank for a few years before returning to India. Guru is a partner and leader of Sales and Innovation for the India region with a big 4 consulting firm. He has over 20 years of experience in founding consulting businesses and scaling teams across, financial services, government and energy sectors.

Babu P Varu (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

He has been associated as the head of Finance and Administration of MJC since its start

Thomas Mathew (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

He is a certified Public Accountant with an active practice focusing on NGS. He also plays the role of Financial Controller of MJC

Vijayan B (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Vijayan is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and his last engagement was as Goa’s Chief Secretary (Head of bureaucratic structure). He graduated from Mysore University with combined degrees in English and education; then, he earned his Masters in International relations at JNU, New Delhi. Having been raised in diverse educational environments, he has sensitivity towards ideology-driven political reality

Sudha Bhave (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Ms Sudha Bhave retired as a senior bureaucrat from the IAS. Subsequently she served in board of CSR board of top Indian NGO

Vijay Pingale (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Served as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer at Central, State, Local Body as well as PSU levels for over 14 years. Then moved to EY India LLP as a Partner leading various projects in urban infrastructure and health sectors. Also have experience of working with various media organisations of Government of India for 3 years as an Indian Information Service (IIS) officer before joining IAS. Trained as a medical doctor, moved into government and public-sector work to have a positive impact at a larger scale .

Biju Dominic (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Chairman, FinalMile Consulting (now a 100% subsidiary of Fractal Analytics) a highly respected research and advisory firm specialising in the area of behavioural Architecture

Mathew V. Francis (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Mathew has over 38 years of experience in Leadership positions with Corporate. He is heading the activities of MJC, since last 4 years after leaving his service with realty major in Delhi. He was the Head of Commercial Operations of CIAL – The first Green field Airport in the Country. He has worked with Retail, Realty, Operations, Techno Commercial, Consulting, and Airport Commercial Management majors in India. He is a Mechanical Engineer by profession with Post Graduate qualification in Management.

Abhi Patwardhan (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Abhi is a start-up mentor, life design coach, and author. He has over 25 years of corporate experience in India and Singapore across different industries. In his latest avatar, he uses his experience to advise start-ups on their business model and go-to-market strategies. He enjoys teaching entrepreneurship to college students. He also loves playing golf and penning his thoughts on everything dog. He is an alumnus of IIM(Bangalore) and Stanford University and lives in Singapore with his wife and two dogs – Zoom and Ziggy

Jacob Thomas (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

He retired as a professor based out of Belfast and has now moved into India. He is alumni of Harvard and Oxford

Adv. K. Pradeepraj (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

K. Pradeepraj is practicing as an Advocate, a for the past 22+ years He is on the panel of Advocates for reputed Banks and Non-Banking Financial Institutions and also empanelled Government Advocate . He also plays the role of Legal Director for MJC..

Neil George MEMBER - MJC SAC

He is head of Nivea South Asia. HE is based out of Delhi India

Mitu Ray Chaudhury SECRETARY- MJC SAC

Mitu works with a young tech start-up called Everwell Health Solutions Pvt. Ltd. that is building the ICT Solution for tuberculosis patient management, in association with Government of India and BMGF. Before joining Everwell, Mitu has worked at Ernst and Young and NSDL and was a part of the teams which implemented large scale e-Governance solutions. Mitu is Cost and Works Accountant from ICWA (India) and is PMP certified.

Shanthi (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

is highly motivated lady and principal of MJMHSS. Her mission is to empower the girls in a holistic way. A highly qualified academician having the following degrees: MA, B.Ed, M.S ,M.Sc, PGDELT. Her untiring effort to make students learn Tamil has enhanced her translation skills that has resulted in making her an authorized translator under Vidyarthi Vidhya Manthan, a national program for educating and popularizing science among school students of VI to XI std. With the help of her team they put in greater interest to bring out the uniqueness in every child

Dr.S.Shalini Packiam Kamala (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Dr.S.Shalini Packiam Kamala is the Principal of Michael Job College of Arts and Science (MJCAS). She is basically a Physicist with doctoral degree. She holds her bachelor degree in Education too. She is an outstanding academician with a distinction in her bachelor’s and M.Phil. She has rich experience in teaching and administration of 18 years. She plays a vital role in Gender Equity Cell as chairperson for more than a decade. She is the recipient of “Human Excellence Award” for global peace from United Nations. She has Participated and Presented more than 150 Papers in Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Symposiums. She acted as the resource person to many seminars, symposiums and workshops. She has published 4 patents. She has authored 1 book and 2 book chapters.

Dr R Ravi (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Dr. R. RAVI is the Principal of MJC College of Education for Women. He has done Post Graduation in English Literature, Educational Technology, Sociology and Psychology. His areas of specializations in research are Educational Technology, Educational Psychology, Curriculum Designing and English Language Teaching. He has published more than 75 articles in National and International Journals and . has developed number of research tools in the field of Education. He is an active Member in different Academic Boards in various Universities in India. He is a consultant for Accreditation and ISO certification process

KL Rao (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

K L Rao is Chief of Social Policy, heading Chennai UNICEF office for TN and Kerala. He is an Economist by training and a Public Finance Management professional with 30 years of experience. He started his career as a Teacher and spent close to a decade and half in the education sector. After his stint in academics, he shifted to government consulting. He has worked in the Government and Public Sector advisory services of the Big-4 consulting firms in India for a decade and half. Rao worked with the Ministry of Finance in Bhutan, Nepal, Ghana and Bangladesh.

Dr Lovneesh Chanana (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Lovneesh is an IT professional having over 24 years of experience in working with the IT Sector with a specific focus on Government Business. He is a results-focused management professional equally aligned with academia to drive the passion of industry-academia collaboration, enabling transfer of industry knowledge to academia and vice versa. He has worked with many renowned academic institutes such as IIT Roorkee, IIM Indore, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jindal global business school etc.

Nikhil Swaminadhan (MEMBER - MJC SAC)

Nikhil has had over 35 years of experience in diverse fields from working in BMW on the assembly line to trading steel on the international markets. Was instrumental in the world’s largest evacuation of people over land prior to the start of the Gulf War. Managed some of India’s largest events and has moved on to trying to save the planet by recycling of waste plastic and tyres into energy near Chennai . Believes that education & empowerment of women alone can help move India forward.
