The Department of Zoology was established in 2004. The Zoology programs at our
college have a rich legacy of fostering a deep understanding of animal sciences. Our
department boasts dedicated initiatives aimed at environmental conservation, including the
creation of a herbal garden and a kitchen garden. These endeavors play a pivotal role in
instilling values of environmental consciousness among our students.
The degree program serves as a strong foundation for further studies in modern and
applied sciences, providing comprehensive knowledge through laboratory experiments and
practical fieldwork. Graduates from our program are well-equipped for a wide array of
career opportunities in both public and private sectors.
Moreover, the Panther Leo Club within the department actively promotes these
values through engaging weekly club activities, contributing to the holistic development of
our students.
