EVOLUTION

The genesis of Michael Job College can be traced back to a unique vision conceived by Dr. P.P. Job, who established the Michael Job Memorial Orphanage and Educational Institutions. This endeavor was inspired by a deep sense of purpose following the untimely passing of his son, Michael Job, in 1999.

Dr. P.P. Job's passion for empowering underprivileged girls became the driving force behind the formation of MJC. Recognizing education as the key to empowerment, he envisioned an educational center that would not only provide high-quality academic education but also impart valuable life skills to transform girls into responsible and empowered women. Rejecting the conventional model of “orphanages” or “destitute homes,” Dr. P.P. Job aimed to create an environment promoting values such as decency, honesty, and humility.

His vision included establishing a Center of Education with top-notch infrastructure and dedicated staff, ensuring that any parent, regardless of economic background, would choose MJC for their children. Dr. P.P. Job also envisioned a unique integration of a Home for the Underprivileged within the campus, where residents would live and learn as part of a community, experiencing the real world rather than isolation.

Over the past decade, MJC has expanded to include a High School, an Arts and Science College, a College of Education, and a home for economically challenged individuals. Future plans involve the addition of value-added certifications for employable skills. All these institutions operate under the umbrella of Love in Action Society, a charitable society committed to providing educational and medical support to deserving sections of society.

Unlike institutions driven by profit motives, the fees and expenses of economically challenged children are covered by the college through sponsorships from supporters and well-wishers. Every resource received, whether from sponsors or fee-paying students, is dedicated solely to supporting underprivileged girl children.
